Hannah Sarpong, wife of the late NDC National Vice Chairman, Dr Samuel Sarpong, on Friday, August 15, 2025, honoured her late husband with a heart-touching tribute during the interdenominational state funeral for the last six victims of the August 6, 2025, helicopter crash.
With tears streaming down her face, she remembered her husband of 37 years as a devoted partner, father, and pillar of strength.
She recalled Dr Sarpong's last phone call to her before the crash, where he said he was embarking on "a return journey." Holding onto that promise, she said, "I am still looking forward to welcoming you back home, my dear husband.
