Amid the emotional expressions at the funeral of the August 6, 2025, helicopter crash victims, a young boy captured the hearts of attendees with his presence.
The 9-year-old boy, who received timely benevolence from one of the deceased victims, showed up at Black Star Square to pay his last respects to his benefactor.
Dr Edward Omane Boamah, the late Minister of Defence, had stepped in to provide financial support to little Setor, who needed funds to undergo critical surgery to aid his mobility.
In a post on his Facebook page, Bones Man TV, a philanthropist who brought Setor's plight to light, revealed how Dr Omane Boamah fulfilled his promise to cover the full cost of the surgery. "Ghana's Defence Minister, Dr Omane Boamah, generously paid for the entire cost of surgery for 9-year-old Setor, who previously walked to school using a plastic chair.
