The Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Stephen Blewett, has explained the rationale behind his outfit's decision to sign a new sponsorship agreement with the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The new deal has seen the telecommunications giants become the headline sponsor for all four of the country's national football teams.
The teams include the Black Stars, Black Queens, Black Satellites, Black Starlets and the Elite Under-19 Championship for the next two years.
The partnership, valued at $2 million, was officially signed at a colourful ceremony held at the MTN House in Accra on Thursday, August 14.
