The National Executive Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the confirmation of Dr Tia Abdul-Kabiru Mahama as the party's Parliamentary Candidate for the Walewale constituency.

This was agreed unanimously at its meeting held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

This was contained in a press statement issued and signed by the general secretary of the party, Justin Frimpong Kodua on Wednesday, September 11.

Tia Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, becoming the sole aspirant for the contest. "The Party regards in high esteem, the decision of Hon.

Zuweira to bow out of the race and appeals to all stakeholders of the Walewale constituency to offer their unflinching support to the candidacy of Dr.

Tia Abdul-Kabiru Mahama," part of the statement read.
