Ghanaian left-back Ebenezer Annan says he is honoured to join AS Saint-Étienne after completing a transfer from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade.

The 22-year-old signed a long-term contract with the French Ligue 2 side until 2028, with an option for a further year.

The deal is reported to be worth €2.5 million.

Speaking after the announcement, Annan expressed his excitement about joining one of France's most historic clubs. "I am very happy to sign for AS Saint-Étienne," he said. "The club is building a good team, a great staff, and has enormous support from its fans.
