The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has destroyed a substantial quantity of illicit drugs and other illegal substances in the Savannah Region after joint operations with the .
The substances, according to citinewsroom.com report on August 13, 2025, were seized from individuals during targeted enforcement actions aimed at tackling drug abuse and trafficking in the region.
The Damongo Circuit Court, following the operations, convicted six persons, each receiving a fine of not less than 500 penalty units.
