German-born Ghanaian attacker Ansgar Knauff put up an impressive performance to help Eintracht Frankfurt secure victory over Werder Bremen in the German Bundesliga opener on Saturday.

The 23-year-old made substitute appearances as his outfit cruised to a resounding 4-1 victory over their opponent at the Deutsche Bank Park.

Knauff needed just three minutes to announce his presence in the match.

He replaced Jean Bahoya in the 67th-minute mark and found the back of the net in the 70th-minute to seal victory for the host.
