The Deputy Minister of Defence, Brogya Genfi, has disclosed that the Ministry has sought international collaboration to probe the military helicopter crash at Sikaman in the Adansi Akrofuom district of the Ashanti Region.
At a press briefing in Accra on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, he gave the assurance that investigations into the incident will be transparent. "We also want to assure you that the Ghana Armed Forces has already begun investigations into the incident.
We have made a request for international collaboration and have received a positive response in that regard. "And so, we want to assure you, our chiefs, that nothing will be covered.
It will be transparent, and the public will know exactly what happened in the course of this tragic accident," he stated.
