Popular Nigerian media personality and actress Toke Makinwa has announced that she is expecting her first child.
Sharing the news on Instagram on Wednesday, the 40-year-old described it as "the biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever," adding that the timing is "just perfect" and a testament to God's faithfulness.

"You worked on my heart posture to get me ready for the biggest blessing and the highest calling," she wrote, emphasising that "God is never late, and God can be trusted."Overwhelmed with gratitude, she told her fans this new chapter "trumps" all her past achievements. "You get to see me as a mother, I get to raise my own… Hallelujah!" she shared, adding that her unborn child has already made her "the happiest person on earth." Her post has since been flooded with congratulatory messages.
