A care worker who secured a job in England using false identity documents fled to Ghana after a 14-year-old girl died while under his supervision, according to telegraph.co.uk report.

The man, known at the time as Ebo Acheampong, was employed at Huntercombe Hospital in Taplow, Berkshire, through an agency, although his name and identification were allegedly fake.

He had been tasked with providing round-the-clock, one-to-one supervision for teenager Ruth Szymankiewicz, who was receiving treatment for an eating disorder.

According to a Buckinghamshire Coroner's Court documents, Ruth had been placed under strict monitoring after a self-harm incident just 10 days earlier.
