A key aide to Dr Bryan Acheampong, Pius Enam Hadzide, has questioned the credibility of a new poll by Global Info Analytics which shows Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia with a commanding lead in the race to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the 2028 general elections.
The poll, released on Thursday, August 21,2025 placed Dr Bawumia ahead with 52% support among NPP delegates nationwide.
Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong followed with 17%, while Dr Bryan Acheampong secured 3%, placing third.
The survey was conducted between August 12 and 20 and sampled 2,656 NPP delegates across the country.
