Ghana striker Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer has declared himself ready for the upcoming season in Germany with Hamburger SV.  The German-born Black Stars forward was close to leaving the newly-promoted Bundesliga side following a move to join French outfit OGC Nice.

Despite admitting his disappointment over the failed move, Konigsdorffer is poised for the new campaign which begins with a DFB Pokal clash against Pirmasens on Saturday, August 16. "I am healthy, fully fit, and ready to give my all and I am really happy to be here in Mallorca at this training camp.

I had no concerns with returning to HSV; this was never an issue for me as I maintained a good relationship with everyone at the club the whole time," he told HSV media. "It's an intense pre-season with friendlies against  good opponents which has led to some tired legs at the end of it all.
