In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Adwoa Safo described the publication, which appeared on some online portals, as "false, malicious, and deeply insensitive," stressing that her father is hale and hearty.
The former lawmaker cautioned media outlets spreading such unverified reports to immediately retract the false claims or face legal consequences. "My father is alive, in good health, and going about his normal duties.
These death hoaxes are reckless and disrespectful.
