The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has expressed strong confidence that the introduction of the Standard Player Contract will significantly enhance the quality and professionalism of football in Ghana.
Okraku made the announcement during the 31st GFA Ordinary Congress held in Prampram on Tuesday, August 12, revealing the formal approval of the new initiative.
According to the GFA, the Standard Player Contract is designed to improve player welfare by establishing clear minimum provisions and contractual standards across Ghanaian football.
Its main purpose is to guarantee contractual obligations, ensuring fairness between clubs and reducing the likelihood of legal disputes.
