At the Ghana Bar Association Conference on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, held in Kumasi, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II delivered a speech that resonated deeply with the audience.   In his address, he referenced Kofi Kinaata's popular song, "Obi Nya Wo Aye," to make a broader point about Ghana's image on the world stage.The King, during his speech highlighted how Ghana is viewed by other nations, cautioning Ghanaians especially political leaders about the impact of undermining their own country.

He acknowledged the challenges in the judicial system but emphasized the need for appreciation, noting that some countries see Ghana as a model of progress.

Drawing on Kinaata's lyrics, he urged Ghanaians to reflect on their achievements rather than focus solely on shortcomings. "We have a judiciary that may not be perfect but it deserves credit for the positive efforts.
