Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has expressed his deepest sympathy to President John Mahama following the tragic helicopter crash at Adansi Brofoyeduru that claimed the lives of two cabinet ministers and six others on a national assignment to Obuasi.

Edward Omane Boamah and Alhaji Mutala Mohammed, ministers of defense and environment, respectively, and six others perished on Wednesday, August 8, 2025, while on board a military helicopter en route to Obuasi from Accra.
