The International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations (IFATSEA) has expressed its profound sorrow following the helicopter crash in Ghana that claimed the lives of two senior ministers and six others.
In a statement issued on Thursday, August 7, 2025, and co-signed by IFATSEA President Ing.
Frank Kofi Apeagyei and Executive Secretary Meaghan Olmstead, the organisation said the tragedy had sent shockwaves through the aviation community and beyond.
The crash occurred in a dense forest while the victims were travelling to Obuasi.
