Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is rallying the nation following the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight officials, including two Cabinet Ministers.
The Vice President chaired a security meeting at the Presidency, which included Ministers and senior officials of the Ghana Armed Forces, as the government prepared to officially announce the deaths of the eight individuals aboard the military helicopter.
Following a public announcement by the Chief of Staff, Professor Opoku-Agyemang led a government delegation to the home of the late Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, who was also the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central.
Accompanied by Finance Minister Dr , Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu, and Deputy Minister for Lands Yusif Sulemana, the Vice President also visited the residence of Alhaji Lemuna, the Deputy Acting National Security Advisor, who also perished in the crash.
