The Ghana Army School of Ammunition and Explosives (GASAE), in collaboration with the United Kingdom's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Short-Term Training Team (STTT), has successfully held a graduation ceremony for participants of the Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) Basic and Assistant Course 2-25.
The ceremony marked the culmination of intensive training designed to equip Ghanaian military personnel with the skills required to safely detect, disarm, and dispose of improvised explosive devices - a growing threat in contemporary security operations.
Held under the auspices of the Ghana Armed Forces, the training is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the country's counter-IED capabilities through international partnerships and technical expertise.
Graduates of the course were commended for their dedication, discipline, and resilience throughout the programme.
