Hamburger SV manager, Merlin Polzin is delighted to have Ghanaian striker Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer back in his team following his botched move to French giants OGC Nice. The Ghana international had agreed a deal with Nice and was set to finalize his move before the agreement fell through due to medical reasons. "In the three years he played for HSV, he had few days off or missed any matches," said Polzin, who was surprised by Nice's reason.
Despite the disappointment, the manager is ready to welcome the forward, stating he has a very good relationship with the German-born forward. "Ransford and his family had imagined it differently, otherwise they wouldn't have left.
I feel sorry for him.
HSV wanted to give him the opportunity to change when he approached us with his desire to move.
