The Ghana Armed Forces has announced the temporary closure of the Trauma and Surgical Emergency Unit at the 37 Military Hospital for routine fumigation and maintenance.

The closure, which begins on Monday, August 4, will last until Wednesday, August 13, 2025, according to a statement issued by the Department of Public Relations at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra.

This scheduled exercise forms part of the hospital's ongoing commitment to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety for both patients and staff.

During the period of closure, Simango Ward will serve as the designated area for receiving all trauma and surgical emergency cases.
