The Ashaiman Municipal Assembly (ASHMA), in collaboration with Nat Uprising Company Limited and Akyemfour and Sons Constructions, has officially commissioned the ultra-modern Nii Annan Adjor Market.
The project, an initiative of the assembly, aims to regenerate the old Ashaiman Kufuor Station, also known as Nii Annan Adjor Market, into a modern market complex providing a serene environment for business activities.
The newly built facility, which began construction in 2021 under the auspices of former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Albert Okyere, features over 700 stores, washrooms, a banking hall, lorry parks, and more.
Speaking at the event, the current MCE for Ashaiman, Freeman Tsekpo, said the project is part of the assembly's plan to transform the old market into a modern complex.
