Correspondence from the Western Region A cross-section of residents in Jomoro have pleaded with President to reconstruct their bad roads to save lives.
According to them, the roads from Samenye barrier to Half-Assini and from Effasu to New Town are in deplorable condition and require immediate attention from the government.
The residents appealed to 's Western Regional Correspondent, Daniel Kaku, in Parliament House shortly after the vetting of their Member of Parliament (MP), Dorcas Affo-Toffey, as Deputy Minister of Transport by the Appointments Committee of Parliament.
In what could be described as mixed feelings, some of the residents were not happy that the mid-year budget statement to Parliament on road infrastructure did not capture the poor road network in the Jomoro Municipality.
