Philip Kwame Brobbey of Philbro Group Ltd has rejected allegations by former National Signals Bureau (NSB) boss, Kwabena Adu-Boahene, that he imported and sold him a stolen vehicle.

In a letter dated Thursday, July 31, 2025, and issued by his legal representatives, which was sighted by GhanaWeb, Brobbey described the allegations as 'false and defamatory'.

Brobbey's lawyers, setting the records straight, clarified that their client, Philip Kwame Brobbey, had legally acquired the vehicle - a BMW 740D - locally before selling it to Adu-Boahene in August 2024, after the latter had allegedly conducted his own due diligence prior to the purchase. "Brobbey categorically denies being the importer of the said vehicle; instead, lawfully acquired it locally before selling it in August 2024, not December 2024 as wrongly reported.

Before the sale, Adu-Boahene conducted due diligence and voluntarily proceeded with the transaction.
