Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku says the association's new strategic model for the Ghana Premier League will ensure that all participating clubs receive financial benefits regardless of their position on the final league table. "Whether you place first or twentieth, your effort, your performance, your participation will yield financial benefit," Okraku said. "This brings meaning to every game and keeps the competitive spirit alive throughout the season." His remarks were made during the announcement of a new partnership with Adesa Production Limited, which will see each Premier League club receive GH₵1 million ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The deal also includes performance-based incentives and media value initiatives.

Okraku, who also serves as CAF Vice President, said the GFA is building a structure that moves beyond entertainment, one that supports financial sustainability and club development.

The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off on the weekend of September 12.
