Ghanaian-Italian forward Kelvin Yeboah continued his rich run of form in the United States after scoring a sensational freekick in to inspire Minnesota United to a thumping victory over Queretaro FC in the Leagues Cup.  The striker curled home from the edge of the box to double his side's lead after South Africa forward Bongokuhle Hlongwane had broken the deadlock in the 11th minute.

The MLS outfit went into the break with the two-goal advantage before Jhojan Julio pulled one back for the Mexicans in the second half.

Anthony Markanich restored the two-goal lead with 11 minutes remaining.
