The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has entered into a new partnership with Adesa Production Limited (APL), a subsidiary of Media General, as part of efforts to strengthen the Ghana Premier League and retain top talent.

Under the agreement, each Premier League club will receive GHS 1 million before the start of the season.

The GFA believes this financial support will provide clubs with a stable foundation, helping them to manage operations better and invest in player development.

With this move, the GFA hopes to minimize the continuous exodus of players from the local league by improving financial incentives and infrastructure.
