According to Expressen, IF Elfsborg is keen to secure the services of the 23-year-old centre-back and has already taken initial steps, with a first contract reportedly signed.
However, it remains uncertain whether Degerfors IF is ready to part ways with the player just six months after his return to Swedish football.
Leon Hien rejoined the Allsvenskan earlier this year and quickly made his mark at the heart of Degerfors' defence.
