Atalanta has strengthened their backline stability by securing Isak Hien for the long term.

The Swedish-Ghanaian defender has signed a contract extension that keeps him with the Serie A club until the summer of 2029.

This fresh commitment signals Atalanta's firm trust in Hien, who joined the Bergamo side in January 2024 from Hellas Verona.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano broke the news, confirming that Isak Hien has put pen to paper for one more season beyond his original deal. "Atalanta have agreed new deal with Isak Hien until June 2029," Romano posted on X.
