Legal representation for sports journalist Saddick Adams and Angel Broadcasting Network has been withdrawn in the ongoing defamation lawsuit filed by former Ghana international John Paintsil.
Sources close to Crabbe & Co, the law firm previously handling the case, have confirmed that they are no longer representing the two defendants.
John Paintsil is demanding a total of GHS25 million in damages-GHS20 million from Angel FM and GHS5 million from Saddick Adams-over alleged defamatory comments made on the station's platforms.
The comments, according to Paintsil, have caused substantial harm to his reputation.
