Black Queens defender Josephine Kyerewaa Bonsu has opened up on her first international tournament with the national women's team of Ghana. The German-born wing-back starred for the Black Queens as Ghana claimed bronze in Morocco, scoring in the penalty shootout victory over South Africa.
Bonsu had to pass a late fitness test to make Ghana's squad for the tournament. "First tournament - First medal.
Not taking this for granted!
Thanks medical staff for your patience and believe - from MRI to bronze in no time," she posted on Instagram.
