The Minister of Government Communications, , has announced that a total of 97,421 students has so far been reimbursed under the government's flagship "No Fees Stress" initiative.

The minister, in a statement on his Facebook wall, highlighted the government's commitment to ensuring equitable access to education by removing financial barriers for students.

Kwakye Ofosu emphasised that the reimbursements were part of broader efforts to ease the burden of school-related expenses on families across the country.

He added that the initiative targets students who initially paid fees upfront due to delays in government disbursements. "The 'No Fees Stress' programme is a testament to our promise of making education truly accessible. "As of today, 97,421 students have received reimbursements, and we are working to ensure that all eligible students benefit fully from the initiative," he stated.
