The Acting Chief Justice of Ghana, Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, has cautioned aspiring law students that entry into the country's law schools will not be granted indiscriminately, according to a report by Graphic Online.
He emphasised that the General Legal Council (GLC) remains committed to maintaining high standards in legal education and will not open the doors of the profession to just anyone.
Justice Baffoe-Bonnie stated that those who gain admission should view it as a privilege and take pride in the opportunity.
While expanding access to legal education is important, he stressed that it must be balanced against the imperative to uphold quality and integrity in the profession.
