Black Queens forward Princess Marfo has shared her excitement after returning to Ghana with bronze from the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The Bay FC winger starred for Ghana at her first tournament as the Black Queens claimed bronze at the just-concluded tournament.
Marfo, one of the young and exciting prospects in the team, missed the third and fourth place game against South Africa as the West Africans edged the former champions on penalties.
She was however involved in all the matches to the semi-final, excelling in the 4-1 win over Tanzania. "We did it. 3rd place not bad for a start.
