Ghanaian forward Prince Owusu continued his fine form in Major League Soccer on Friday night, scoring his 11th goal of the season to help CF Montréal secure a 3-1 win over the New England Revolution at Stade Saputo.
The result ended a four-game winless run for the Canadian club.
Owusu, who has now netted seven goals in his last eight matches, brought Montréal level in the ninth minute after New England had taken an early lead.
The 28-year-old latched onto a low cross from Dawid Bugaj, used his strength to shield the ball, and struck with a left-footed finish as he fell to the ground.
