Deputy Transport Minister-designate, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has disclosed that only four out of ten electric buses currently delivered to Ghana are operational, despite an initial order of 100 buses.

She made this known during her vetting by Parliament's Appointments Committee on Friday, July 25, 2025.

According to her, the remaining six buses have developed faults with their charging systems, but the issue has since been resolved by the Ministry in collaboration with the supplier. "Ten electric buses are currently in Ghana.

Of course, 100 were ordered, but only ten have been delivered so far.
