Ghanaian youngster David Nnabakye and Micah Wulingminga have been invited for trials at Swedish outfit Kalmar FF after excelling at the 2025 Gothia Cup.  The full back, who caught the attention of the club in November 2024, travelled to Sweden with Cedar Stars for the youth championship, where they impressed several suitors.

However, Kalmar FF took the opportunity to invite the defenders for trials with the U19 team.

Nnabakye and Wulingminga with be observed by the technical team in the coming days before a decision will be made over their future at the club. "Kalmar FF has this week a visit from two young players who are training with the club's U19 team.

Micah Wulingminga and David Nnabakye have joined Kalmar from Cedar Stars' academy in Ghana and will be training with the team in the coming days," wrote the club on their official website.
