Egyptian referee Shahenda Saad Ali Elmaghrabi has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate the third-place playoff between Ghana and South Africa at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The match is scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca, with kick-off set for 19:00 GMT.
Elmaghrabi will be supported by a strong officiating team, including compatriot Yara Atef as Assistant Referee I and Tunisia's Houda Afine as Assistant Referee II.
Tunisia's Dorsaf Ganouati will serve as the fourth official, while Mariem Chedad from Mauritania will act as the Assistant Referee III.
