A delegation of Black Queens players has paid a visit to South African forward Gabriela Salgado, who is recovering in hospital after sustaining a serious injury during the ongoing 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The visit took place at the Mohamed VI University Hospital in Casablanca, where Salgado recently underwent a successful operation.

The Ghanaian players extended words of comfort, support, and encouragement to the Banyana Banyana star, wishing her a speedy and full recovery.

Their presence was a clear demonstration of sportsmanship and the strong sense of solidarity that characterises African women's football.
