The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in collaboration with the Volta Regional Football Association (VRA), has launched the 'Football 4 Girls' grassroots initiative in Central Tongu, Adidome.

The project, driven by the GFA Technical Directorate, is a key component of the Women's Football Strategy, aimed at developing female talent from the grassroots, especially among girls in basic schools.

Eight schools took part in the launch event, which included a gala and skill development sessions designed to introduce young girls to football in a safe and supportive setting.

Participating schools included Amedzo Bilingual School, EP Primary Adidome, Global Primary Adidome, RC Primary Adidome 'A' and 'B', DA Primary Adidome, Kpogede Community School, and DA Primary Avakpedome.
