Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has dismissed claims that the Association has reached a new five-year broadcast agreement with pay-TV network StarTimes for the Ghana Premier League.
StarTimes Public Relations Officer (PRO) Eli Kondoh, speaking on Sporty FM, had stated that both parties had resolved outstanding issues and agreed on a fresh deal.
According to Kondoh, the agreement followed a payment plan to clear debts from a previous contract, and the new deal would run from the upcoming season. "So yes, there was an agreement to clear all of that debt.
And then, there was also another plan for how the new payment for the upcoming deal would be handled.
