The minority in parliament have staged a walkout at the ongoing mid-year budget review.
The Minority says that until something concrete is done about the violence meted out to their members during the Ablekuma North rerun, they cannot take part in the exercise.
Announcing the decision to walk out, the Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annor-Dompreh, told the Speaker that they have concerns about electoral violence, which characterised the Ablekuma North election.
The Speaker, who acknowledged that electoral violence should not be something that should be entertained, said he had tabled the topic and will want Parliament to debate it in the coming days.
