A 26-year-old commercial driver is currently fighting for his life after allegedly being subjected to brutal assault by police officers, leaving him with severe injuries that may result in permanent paralysis.
The driver, John Arhin, a native of Enyan Kokwado in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District, Central Region, alleged that he was en route to Ajumako on Monday, July 21, 2025, to have his mechanic fix his faulty sprinter bus.
However, according to a report by Kasapa FM's Yaw Boagyan, Arhin's inability to stop his car immediately when stopped by police due to a mechanical fault enraged the officers.
They allegedly pursued him on a motorbike, pulled him out of his vehicle with force, and subjected him to a gruesome assault that left him unable to walk.
