The Minister of Finance, Dr , has disclosed that the John Mahama-led government has authorised the commencement of 32 road infrastructure projects under its Big Push Programme.
He made this known during the presentation of the 2025 Mid-Year Fiscal Policy Review to Parliament on Thursday, July 24,2025, where he emphasised that the projects will be executed within the limits of the 2025 approved budget, with no request for additional funds.
According to Dr Forson, the initiative is part of the government's effort to complete critical infrastructure across the country while maintaining macroeconomic stability under Ghana's ongoing programme with the (IMF). "We are not seeking supplementary financing beyond what was approved for the 2025 fiscal year.
Our focus is on managing expenditure, improving revenue collection, and delivering strategic projects," he said.
