Ghanaian midfielder Ronald Donkor has shared his experience playing against some of his childhood idols in the Major League Soccer. The New York Red Bulls player faced a star-studded Inter Miami side, which featured legends Sergio Busquets, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba.
Donkor started and was replaced in the second half as the New Yorkers suffered a thumping 5-1 defeat.
Despite the loss, the 20-year-old Ghanaian disclosed he learns a lot playing against Busquets and his teammates and aspires to reach his level. "It is not easy playing against such players, we have been watching them on TV and like we have been learning a lot from them.
Playing against them is really good.
