English-born Ghanaian youngster Jeremiah Berkeley-Agyepong has secured a scholarship deal at Chelsea ahead of the 2025/26 season. The 15-year-old inked the deal after starring for the U18's last season and was also part of the U15 team that won the Premier League Floodlit Cup.
Berkeley-Agyepong, who joined Chelsea at 8, will continue his development with the world champions as he hones his skills.
His pace, creativity, and bravery in one-on-one situations has garnered him great admiration from the technical team of the club, who tip him to be one for the future. "Another chapter, same focus," posted the talented footballer on social media after his presentation.
Chelsea have a long history of handing opportunities to young Ghanaian footballers, with Tariq Lamptey and Callum Hudson-Odoi some of the players to come out of the club's academy.
