Hearts of Oak have parted ways with striker Asamoah Boateng Afriyie after just one season at the club.

The former King Faisal and Eleven Wonders forward joined the Phobians ahead of the 2024/25 campaign with high expectations but struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter in the team.

His exit comes as part of a wider squad reshuffle by the club following a disappointing league campaign that saw Hearts finish outside the top four and miss out on continental football.

Boateng is now a free agent and will be exploring new opportunities ahead of the 2025/26 season.
