In a strategic move to boost bilateral collaboration on climate change action, Ghana's Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability, Issifu Seidu, has hosted a working visit by the Denmark Ambassador to Ghana, Tom Norring, in his office in Accra on July 15, 2025.
The visit allowed the minister inform the ambassador of the mandate of the newly-established Office of the Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability.
The meeting also focused on deepening collaboration in areas such as deepening climate governance, green investment and building capacity for institutional development in Ghana and Africa as whole.
Seidu highlighted Ghana's renewed climate ambition adding that some key steps such as the scaling up of rooftop solar energy installations across Ministries, Department and Agencies will facilitate and reduce the huge load the national energy burden in the energy sector.
