Marriage counselor, Theresa Wiafe, has asserted that about 60% of young people getting married are not sure why they want to marry.
According to her, they provide excuses during the premarital counselling on why they're going to get married, a worrying feature of recent marriages.
She explained that the most dominant reason for marriage has been the fact that their parents want them to be responsible.
However, she explained that marriage cannot make anyone responsible if they are not and therefore should not be the reason why one settles.
