Solomon Owusu has cast serious doubt on Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia's ability to win the 2028 general elections, arguing that the Vice President's current support base in the Akan regions doesn't translate into national victory.

Owusu broke down the math, warning that the NPP should be worried, not confident during an interview on TV3. "Even with that, he ended up at the national polls in the region of 41.75%.

So if we're going to do proportionate allocation-if 64 to 68% was leading to 41%, then with this 59%, he's doing around 38% in the national polls," he explained.
